I guess that wraps that up. I mean, I suppose I could see what they were trying to accomplish with this episode, but everything felt...off.

This episode really just continues to make me question what the heck Twenty Faces is doing. Maybe there's something going on throughout the episode about not taking other people's love for granted or whatever, but it's vastly overshadowed by the sheer amount of effort that went into making everything go right.

Well, this episode squashes any hope I had that Twenty Faces might be an interesting character. Not only do we get no further explanation for what happened between him and Akechi, but his ideals just feel cheap to me. I wonder if they might resonate with someone who likes utilitarianism, but they certainly do nothing for me. I guess disappointment is the name of the game for this series...

This episode was hard to watch. Hanasaki was hard to deal with as a character before now and this change isn't really helping. I'm just hoping that the fact that one of the main characters might start working with Twenty Faces will finally give us some more information about this guy.

Well, this episode was pretty slow...overall seemed to drag on and the animation was noticeably poor. I'm not super interested in Hanasaki's past, to be honest. I'm more wondering about Haru's country. What exactly is he trying to accomplish? I don't understand why he doesn't just build a civilization outside of the urban environment.

Not much to say on this one. The episode ended up being pretty much all background. Honestly, it made me think this series really should be more focused on Twenty Faces, but what can you do? I would have liked to have seen more on the circumstances around the death of the first Akechi, but I guess that wasn't important? This episode seemed a bit confused.

Not too interesting of an episode this week. I guess they tried to develop Hanasaki's relationship with Kobayashi with the birthday thing, but it doesn't make for an fun journey. There were also some hints at Hanasaki's nature under the surface, but I don't even know if that helps.

All in all, this most recent arc with Twenty Faces hasn't been too bad in comparison to the introductory episodes. I'm going to assume the ship has sailed on actual detective stuff and the big mystery of the episode is just who exactly Twenty Faces is. Now I just need to figure out why I make so many references to other media in this series.

This show continues to be...well, I'm still not sure. That being said, this episode seems to do a bit more than the random non-mysteries of the previous episodes.

I mean, I guess this week's episode wasn't as boring to watch as last week's episode, but the lack of mystery in this series is really grinding my gears.
