Drifters Final Episode (12): Second season when?

Drifters Final Episode (12): Second season when?

In this episode, Toyohisa gets cut a million times without dying of blood loss. This episode went by with so little resolution that I forgot it was the last one. Well, given the way the series was progressing, this ending was to be expected.

Drifters Episode 11: Three kingdoms?

Drifters Episode 11: Three kingdoms?

Pretty cool episode. I like how the three Japanese Drifters are splitting up the races in the fantasy world for their specific preferences. It makes for an interesting army, much more interesting than the Ends with their fancy powers.

Drifters Episode 10: Fetish warriors

Drifters Episode 10: Fetish warriors

I guess this week's episode in a nutshell was introducing the dwarves further and adding Saint-Germi to the list of allies. That being said, I feel like I was overly aware of the episode beating a lot of jokes into the ground. I was reacting a lot like "yeah, I get it already. You don't need to remind me."

Drifters Episode 9: Storming the keep

Drifters Episode 9: Storming the keep

Alright, we got dwarves. Battles episodes are fun as always. It was interesting to watch how magic was used in the fight and Nobunaga's pairing with Hannibal looks promising. Still not completely convinced on Toyohisa, but there's enough going on to keep me occupied.

Drifters Episode 8: Dead languages

Drifters Episode 8: Dead languages

Man, these episodes are so long. Lot of good moments in this episode. I like how Nobunaga establishes his intelligence. Humor was also pretty solid...I had to stop myself from jabbing at Latin a bit. Other than that, just a lot of planning. Next week, to battle?

Drifters Episode 7: Lancer vs. Archer

Drifters Episode 7: Lancer vs. Archer

Love me some battle episodes. The Drifters vs. the Ends was pretty much as entertaining as I hoped it would be. Not too much more to say about this episode. Maybe next week we'll get some more explanation about the world from the Grand Master.

Drifters Episode 6: Literally Hitler

Drifters Episode 6: Literally Hitler

This episode felt pretty good for Nobunaga. I'm not sure I really like his excessive inner monologue yet, but he had some good moments this week. Other than that, this episode wasn't really much...decent amount of exposition and buildup for a Drifters vs. Ends battle. I'm looking forward to that, though. Oh, and we finally get the OP back in this episode, so it started strong.

Drifters Episode 5: Even more brutal

Drifters Episode 5: Even more brutal

Well, this episode was pretty messed up. It makes sense given the era these Drifters came from, but still...pretty messed up. And once again, the opening is skipped...seriously, guys? Could have spent less time explaining that elves are good at archery and more time showing us that opening. But anyway, this episode is more active than the last one, so it was more interesting to watch.

Drifters Episode 4: I'm mad at this episode for all the wrong reasons

Drifters Episode 4: I'm mad at this episode for all the wrong reasons

I feel like I enjoy this series too much for someone who's not a history nerd. I'm glad we got some explanations this week, but meh...mostly cool down in this episode. There were quite a few moments that felt like a waste of time to me, which is especially annoying because they cut the opening theme this week. That's just not okay, guys.

Drifters Episode 3: Planes beat dragons this time

Drifters Episode 3: Planes beat dragons this time

In this episode: more new characters! Specifically, we got some...well, we got some people with guns. Also, if you like big war scenes, then this episode's for you. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for something to make sense...
