Double Decker! Doug and Kirill Episode 9: The episode where Kirill has an idea
Published on November 20, 2018
This episode really felt like a step up, showing off both Kirill's progress as a member of SEVEN-O and the strength of his relationship with Doug. The Esperanza group is also seeming more interesting now that they seem to be making their move. I also thought that the politician's desperate attempt to fake an act of heroism was a funny way to set up a kidnapping.
This show is clearly trying to appease me as a viewer by calling me smart, and I'm totally okay with it.
I always like watching stuff like this, elaborate plans that fall apart because the opposing side was just more prepared. It's a nice battlefield for Esperanza and SEVEN-O.
The sort of arms race between SEVEN-O and Esperanza seems cool. They're each trying to get information from each other, and I'm curious to see how it goes.
I totally called this.
I really appreciate the fact that Kirill is the one who comes up with the plan to save Doug. He not only cares about partner but also displays that he's actually a capable police officer (and not just a constant joke).
So, was Kirill's grandfather secretly a military officer? Honestly, I'm more inclined to suspect that this thing with the good luck charm is more related to Kirill's brother than anything else. He has to be relevant somehow, right?
