Planet With Episode 6: So, we're done?

I would have said this episode made for a strong finale, but the episode ended by opening up a lot more questions. The episode had some solid action, and it was pretty interesting overall. I have no idea what to expect from the second half of the series, since this is a pretty tough series to read. We seem to be done with the main conflict, so I feel like the story could go anywhere.

If I had to lodge one complaint at the episode, it would be that Takashi doesn't feel very convincing. We get that he has some strong sense of justice and truly wishes to defend people, but there's no real insight into what let him down that road. Still, this fight had some really interesting dialogue for an action scene.

Wait, why don't they do this all of the time? I'm honestly getting tired of people having to translate the random Nebula grunts.

Holy exposition dump...

I think Souya often comes off as a mindless revenge machine, but I like that he generally seems levelheaded in combat.

Yeah, this moment was pretty awesome. That's all I've got. Praise the clog!

Given the old man's request earlier in the episode, I'm really surprised that Takashi ends up dying in this fight. I find it hard to believe that the old man will be a convincing antagonist for the second half of the series, but this certainly seems like the kind of thing to piss him off.

I honestly have no idea what to make of Souya's brother appearing here. Is he somehow responsible for the dragon's appearance on Earth? Is he just showing up to indicate that Souya's revenge is complete?

"I have no idea what to expect from the second half of the series"

    That makes two of us!

"I honestly have no idea what to make of Souya's brother appearing here. Is he somehow responsible for the dragon's appearance on Earth? Is he just showing up to indicate that Souya's revenge is complete?"

That moment threw me, too. I wonder if we'll find out more about it later?

    Hmmm...

yeah, i was figuring that souya's brother was either there to "end" the revenge arc or act as a marker for more involvement in the second half
