Divine Gate First Impressions (1): These colors...

I don't know if I can handle this series, guys. I really didn't know what this show was coming in and apparently that was a bad idea because the show basically refuses to explain itself in the first episode. Even from the screenshot above, what's a nontron? Am I just supposed to assume it's some sort of automated drone that generates the zone?

What's a quest? Is that just what they call their missions? What's a Driver? I get that it's a device to amplify or control their powers or something, but I'd prefer to be told this rather than the attempts at philosophy I was given. Also, what's an Adapter? Why do people become Adapters? What kind of powers can they have? Instead, what we end up getting is this annoying series of statements where something is stated, then negated. Can I make a post like that and be interesting? Because I personally didn't enjoy seeing lines like "you're a liar, but you aren't".

As for the music, was I the only person who liked the song playing when the main guy was having his depressing flashback more than the ending song? I really hope that's the opening song or something because it sounded good. Anyway, I think I'll pass on covering this series for now. I'll watch a couple of more episodes to verify my initial judgment and let you guys know if it gets any better.
