Fate/stay Night Unlimited Blade Works Episode 1: Back to where we left off

So it looks like we're looping back through Shirou's point of view after all. Well, so far we haven't exactly seem much that is new. A couple of more displays of how much of a dick Shinji is and a lot of idealistic monologue from Shirou, but not much more. I'm surprised he actually came out and said how much he preferred to save everyone no matter what the situationĀ like that, especially in the first episode. It's a bit worrisome to say the least. I'm not sure how I feel about the hour-long episode again, but I guess it's better than the first episode only being intro with very little action like the original adaptation. It justĀ feels like a lot to sit through...though it's basically the same idea, except everything's brought up-front.

Music choices for this series seem solid...not much more to say about that. The styles match Fate/Zero fairly closely and I'm totally cool with that. So far, nothing here seems too different from the original adaptation, but it doesn't really surprise me that the first part of the new route would be same since introductions can only be so different. Anyway, I guess I'm just curious about the part where the stories start diverging. There's only one scene that I can really be suspicious about (Sakura's night time meetings), but I wouldn't want to be a jerk and spoil things, right?

Things will start to diverge (compared to the first anime adaptation (not the movie)) starting from next week and for the rest of the series. Shirou using the Command Seal to stop Saber is the key of the change.
