Log Horizon Episode 7: Food War
Published on November 17, 2013
Well, I guess the plan is in motion. I guess similar to SAO, cooking is kind of a big deal. Personally, I'm usually more interested in crafting when I play MMOs because I like making my own weapons, but I don't really think there are as few cooks in games as Japan seems to think. Anyway, we still only have pieces of Shiroe's plan.
I don't think the goal of building up money and the fact that EXP potions are being sold on some sort of black market are a coincidence, but that's mostly speculation at this point. Hopefully we learn more next week. From the preview, it sounds like Shiroe is willing to antagonize anyone to complete the plan. Maybe he'll become an enemy of the world after all...

Nov. 17, 2013, 6:11 p.m.I think the comparations to SAO have no future. Log Horizon proved it is a diferent anime at this episode. Nice strategy, Shiroe.
Anyway, sell burgers is only part of the plan, the objective is get 5 million gold... for do something with the money.
But episode 7 have a hint, it show the entire city of Akiba is for sell for 110 million gold... so, what Shjiroe can buy with 5 million gold?

Nov. 19, 2013, 7:31 a.m.It depends on the game, some allows cooking regardless of the other profession the character may have. In this case, if you are a cook you can't do any other professions which is why the number is low.

Nov. 19, 2013, 7:54 a.m.They have two classes.
Nyanta is a swashbuckler and a chef. Serara is a druid (I think) and a maid. Akatsuki is an assassin and a tracker. etc...
