Shin Sekai Yori Episode 9

So Shun is gone...but is he? Was that him standing next to the adults when Maria was eavesdropping? I understand she couldn't see anything, so she couldn't identify him, but it sure looked like it. Totally looked evil to me. But man...I'm not sure what's going to be good and evil in this show. The kids versus the adults? Shun against everyone else? With a utopian society, going against the village is the most normal thing, so maybe the "karma demon" business isn't as bad as they say.

Of course, the best question to ask is whether it's only him? It can't be...everyone else must be in danger too. So how would they find out and what will they do about it? Looks like they're pretty close to the "finding out" part with Saki meeting a karma demon (is that what that is?) after going to investigate Maria's story.

We're still not sure...don't try and attack Shun without proofs! O_O

    Here is my opinion

Remember when I said so and so was getting more sadistic after improperly having his Cantus restored. Same thing was happening to Shun but he was experiencing an internal conflict. Now we know what its called ie becoming a karma demon

The village people can't do much about it because they cannot affect other humans with Cantus. It goes against the Ethics Code and the shame mechanism so what do they do? They use these cats.

The third person with them when Maria was eavesdropping was not Shun if only because the teacher was talking about Shun using the third person. He was such a talented boy etc....

I'm assuming Shun went wild in pinewood and they closed it off and released the cats to hunt him down.

haha...I guess we'll see. It's hard to keep track at times with all of the differences between fiction and reality in that world.
