Sword Art Online Episode 6

Like I said before, it's never the ghost. I figured there was something wrong with Yoruko's death. I have to say, though...it's pretty clever to use armor destruction to fake death...sounds like something I'd try. I guess I can't really blame Yoruko and Kains since they were just trying to figure out what happened to Griselda, not steal the rare item.

But at the end of the day, Grimlock was a pretty boring culprit. At least he didn't do it for the item...that would just be nuts (not that his reason was much better). But that aside, the scene with Griselda's "spirit" at the very end was kinda suspicious. It kinda makes you think a bit more about what the PK said about death not being true in Sword Art. What if it was suggesting that Griselda didn't die in the real world? But that's just wild speculation.

Poor Kirito...the first decent food he's had since he entered Sword Art Online and it disintegrates when it hits the ground. What an unforgiving game...the only place where dropping food on the ground can't contaminate it and it enforces the 5-second rule. Asuna's cooking skill does beg the question, though...she's about as strong as Kirito, right? How did she manage that?

Kirito always made sense because he's a solo character, so he would naturally gain more experience. But how does a guild second-in-command get so much experience that she can afford to raise a cooking skill? Another introductory arc has finished...how many more are left? This one wasn't all that bad, but it's nice to have a more overarching thing going on.

Just one last note: we're introduced to the PK guild Laughing Coffin...just wanted to say that Kestrel was a much better-sounding guild name in my opinion. Also, Kirito finally has a friend!

〉〉 Griselda I think they might be implying the concept of "soul" in the virtual world, as in the essence of a person's mind (more in the scientific sense than spiritual). But I might be over thinking this.

you see...I have a problem with this. It implies an analogy with the real world. In order for the soul to be displayed in the virtual world, it has to be stored somewhere. So that would mean that something is storing "soul data" in the real world. That's why I dismissed that idea. My idea isn't much better, but I'm just trying to reason it out.

Maybe they are stored, or implied that they can be stored. We still don't know what Kayaba is up to with his whole little experiment. But it's really difficult to speculate right now as we are still trapped within the SAO world. Maybe we'll find out by the end of the show.

another reference i knew it.... well that was a pretty ridiculous reason to pk somebody because of personality change....

wow they just destroy the armor for something as mundane as catching your old guild master killer ....and asuna probably have low stat on something else instead of cooking something that doesn't involve battle like one handed skill

is it some kind of optic illusion it is kind of impossible for the soul to be there in unless soul can be put as 0 and 1...their mind is impossible thanks to their brain is cooked by the machine they are in...

this is why you play as a solo character nobody to disturb you or anything...you get the whole item fully the marriage system is interesting just married someone then pk them and then their legendary item belong to you...

the guild seem to be interesting putting them in tournament then killing them when they are weaken is a brilliant choice...and now kirito how could don't accept the friend request!!!

    love is a strange thing...

there cant be all that many skills...so either Kirito is stupidly stronger than her or she's a high enough level to be able to match his skills, which would mean she would have to have some really good farming techniques.

well, it doesn't have to be an actual soul, right? Just an image or something, which is easy to encode.

solo all the way! woot! we dont need friends! forever alone!

yes...yes it is... then again most emotion is stupid it clouded one's judgement... pretty much why i don't want to be human anymore...

asuna doesn't power up heavy armor or 2 handed weapon and focus on stuff like support and cooking...though we don't know if he is as strong as kirito or not stat doesn't mean everything on hack and slash if you can't hit your opponent you won't win...

an image.... i don't know look pretty sentient to me...which doesn't make sense since the player died the system remove any possibility of staying alive... or possibly an ai take over the character?

solo is better for me no need to share you get all the benefit for yourself and no trouble .... don't know about you though...

and the people is considered lucky kestrel isn't here the body count would be enough to fill a city....

lol...the singularity is coming soon, right?

true...Kirito definitely seems like the better player, but I have no idea what Asuna's level is

yeah, but she didnt even talk or anything...just stood there...an image could easily take care of that

let's solo together! ....wait a minute....

lol...where's the PKK when you need him?

considering they are on the front line together she must be on the same number as kirito...and worse she is on a group the exp is probably shared unlike kirito who is a solo player and she is a fragile speedster/support she doesn't spend her point on battle skill and need a team to work well.... right about now i have to say 75-90 at best

but who put the image in there?and to do that is probably tampering with the system and shouldn't be possible....

on other note what is inside that sandwich looks nice probably taste nice too...too bad my skill in cooking is probably in the negative....but yeah for the safety of the player we enforce the 5 second rule will make me rage if that happen to me...and why do they feel hungry anyway aren't they being supplied with the basic need in real life?

she doesnt seem like a support type...seems to jump into battle based on what we've seen so far

no idea...maybe the creator's screwing with people?

well that was odd because i was sure she spent her skill on healing... but for the fight she spent her point on dodging and lightweight weapon and armor she is like fragile speedster she is strong but not enough to become a solo player like kirito....

not sure the creator seem to take neutral stand not sure why he will interfere in such small problem as this one....

no it is healing just not shown yet possibly later...

hmm for a genius like the creator to not calculate this bug...i'm not guessing this is a simple bug or anomaly....

is it even a possibility soul can even alter the data? kind of doubtful of that my guess is that an ai take over her character personality and such that is my best guess even then it is full of fault...

During the final battle we'll get this scene :

Kirito "Asuna use the skill X! NOW!" Asuna "I can't, I used well 50 points in cooking so I don't have that skill. trololol"

    game over

I'm so glad my food doesn't disintegrate when I drop it.

Am I the only one who didn't enjoy this arc as much as the previous arcs. Murdering each other of a rare item drop is very petty and I found it hard to feel sympathy for that girl with the crazy eyes. Here's hoping the next arc/story is as good as the first few.

That said I still enjoy it when Kirito goes into battle mode. We really need to see him fight properly soon.
