Guilty Crown Episode 6

Picking up from last week, it's explained that the Leukocyte weapon that was fired last week is a network of satellites that, when completed, will have full coverage over Japan. Gai turns out to be okay (of course), but the rest of the people there are wiped out.

Gai immediately responds by planning an operation to take out the control facility for the Leukocyte, but with a staggering projected casualty rate of 35% that causes Shu to try to drop out to stop the operation. Naturally, Inori is sent to change his mind. She does so by tricking Gai into telling Shu his true feelings, believing him to be Inori.

Gai reveals that there was another survivor of the Leukocyte attack, but he was forced to kill her to end her suffering. Gai intentionally provokes Shu into attacking him and manages to convince him to fight (of course).

With that, the operation begins. Ayase faces off against Daryl, who has returned for this battle to retreive the Endlave that Ayase is using, formerly his. Meanwhile, Shu, Gai, Kenji, and Inori infiltrate the facility to get to the core. Gai and Shu manage to get to the core, but they are interrupted by the arrival of Daryl.

Unfortunately, Daryl shoots the core, causing one of the Leukocyte satellites to fall out of orbit and barrel towards Tokyo. Gai reveals that he knew about the transmitter the whole time, and he offers to use it to stop the satellite if Segai erases all data on Shu.

Gai reveals that the pen actually acts as a targeting beacon for the Leukocyte, so that if someone activates it while lined up with the falling satellite and another satellite, the city will be saved. Unfortunately, this means that someone has to be shot with the laser. Gai offers himself, but Shu draws an enhanced version of Inori's Void that allows him to shoot both satellites down.

So many questions. Who is this mystery girl that seems to have a relationship with Inori? When are we gonna see more of Tsugumi? Why does Shu still irritate me? Oh well...looks like the start of a new story arc, or maybe some down time. Definitely wondering about that strange person who seemed to have planned everything in this engagement this week. Look forward to more, everyone! Persona 4 probably tomorrow due to lateness.

The mysterious girl was the only interesting thing I found about this episode. And yes, need more Tsugumi! She is too cute to remain a background character.

Side notes: This week ep of Persona 4 was sort of awesome, lol. Plus, I started my second playthrough of P3P as the female since I cleared the Male first. I am on Manic mode and was thinking about recording my boss/tower battles, but not sure if remote joy is going to be cooperative with recording.

I am not familiar with the japanese language, but when inori said to shu to stop it because she hate it... did she mean she hated how he formally spoke to her or how he was complaining?

my grasp of the japanese language is not much better...sorry...we should just wait for feal to chime in

To be honest can be both things as she only said "continuing in that way is no good" so that can means both things. But I think is more on the fact that he was complaining and depressing himself...:P

Inori's level of hotness exceed all records, there is no doubt in that.

I was very happy we got a few frames of Hare this episode.

Btw I think Shuu is going to return to school next episode. Also I don't see how "When are we gonna see more of tsugumi?" A legit mystery question!!!!!!

After these six episodes, Guilty Crown still doesn't manage to keep me all that interested. The action is decent, but the entire story is just boring and most of the characters are boring imo. Oh well, I'll try to finish the series anyways.
