Guilty Crown Episode 5

Alright! Guilty Crown time! This week's episode starts off with Shu being formally introduced to the others of Funeral Parlor. Gai tasks Ayase with training Shu, and after a rather shaky introduction, Shu ends up losing the transmitter he got from Segai last episode (and Ayase manages to get a hold of it, thinking it's only a pen).

After a long day of training, we found out that Shu is...absolutely useless! Clearly not the athletic type, Shu has quite a bit of trouble with the training activities. That night, he asks Inori about the possibility of leaving Funeral Parlor with him, but Inori reveals how much she owes Gai. She also reveals that her behavior towards Shu was a result of Gai's orders (are you sure about that, Inori?).

Shu gets a bit depressed because of how much he envies Gai's charisma, but a conversation with Ayase manages to cheer him up. The next day, Shu spars with Ayase, but he ends up just running around. However, Shu is able to draw a Void to pass Ayase's challenge, gaining him acceptance in the group. Unfortunately, the episode ends with the GHQ firing a satellite laser at Gai's location.

Not a bad episode. That thing with Gai and Inori was a bit weird, but I guess we'll see about that later. I wanna know about that "her" that Gai referenced related to Inori (maybe Inori's a clone O.o). It was definitely nice learning more about Ayase this episode. I was starting to think she was a bit underrepresented before. Also, am I the only one that thought Memento Mori when they showed that satellite? Just saying...Anyways, definitely continue to look forward to the next episode.

    I had a similar idea that Inori might be a clone, but not entirely sold on it yet. Thought of the final battle in P3 with Nyx's when I was the satellite :D

    I was actually started to write a review on it, but since I am not done yet it would be following:

    -Some minor script changes. No major differences however - just a few things with character interactions, etc. -You can play as a MC girl this time on addition to male (you might of figured that already) -Cameo appearance from a P4 character in her younger years (you will figure it out once you get there). -You can now command your characters like in P4 (use to had to issue commands in P3 and Fees) -When in the dungeon the conditions are done away with. Use to, you would get tired after an extended period, but this longer applies to an extent. -The P3 Fees epilogue part is not in P3P.

    That is basically all that comes to mind ^^

    You did. I never regretted picking it up, but I love the series. I also, too see this P4 character you will need to choose the female MC for your playthrough. It is apart of the script change I eluded to with minor events...

    I'm more thinking that Inori is a cyborg of some sort. There is no human capable of jumping 20 meters like they were thin air...:P

    I linked to this post on my Guilty Crown review. I hope you don't mind.

    I'm definitely still interested in Guilty Crown. While flawed, it managed to keep me asking for more, so Kudos there.

    I actually thought Damocales from Code Geass when I saw the satellite.

    We've all heard Guilty Crown=Code Geass, but let me give you another comparison .Guilty Crown= Gurren Lagann.

    Shu=Simon. Gai=Kamina. Ayase=Yoko. Inori=Nia.
