Interesting…so Ledo has decided not to go nuts with his new knowledge. Chamber has managed to convince him to continue his fight…that seemed almost too easy. On the other hand, Pinion is setting himself up for failure. He has no real power of his own and he’s kinda flaunting it. Has he even considered the possibility that Ledo might defy him?
But anyway, it seems like the Alliance has finally found Ledo. But what are the exact circumstances? For all we know, the commander might be just as stranded as Ledo…the other possibility is that the Alliance is just chilling in orbit right now. I’m sure Ledo has an interesting story to tell next week.
Wait wait wait…they didn’t finish with Kurumi yet…they’re already going to Kotori? There’s the vendetta with Origami and the time limit thrown in for Kotori, so it’s almost like Kurumi has just been pushed aside. Does that mean she’s dead? Don’t get me wrong…I’m fine with that. You just gotta tell me.
Anyway, looks like a pretty hard focus on Kotori next week. So what’s the plan? Save her next week, then wrap up things with Kurumi? But don’t they need time for Origami and Kotori to have their epic fight? That’s gotta be half an episode at least. Or maybe someone is lying to me about how many episodes are left.
Oh dang…not one, but two more pilots. Both the punk kid and the revenge kid got their own suits. All according to L-Elf’s plan, it seems. While Thunder’s suit is decent, I think the blue suit is the coolest I’ve seen by far (green one was terrible). If I had to use one, I’d definitely go blue. Also, I stand by my belief that L-Elf won’t have a suit. But who will get it, then? Shoko?
Well, at least it’s not just a bunch of random kids who happened to get the Valvraves. I was wondering when the genetic engineering aspect of Gundam SEED was gonna show up. It also seems like half-mask guy on the Dorssian side is also part of the experiment. So what’s going to happen to the last suit? And it seems like Haruto might be suffering some adverse effects…maybe he needs to drink some blood.
Wow…Mizar went down in like ten seconds. Most of the time was spent trying to get Nitta to return to normal after being possessed by Lugh. I’m kinda disappointed…that scene with Hibiki and Nitta was pretty frustrating to watch and I remember the Dragon Stream seeming a lot more comical in the game (pretending to be dead and whatnot).
Would this show be better if it had been longer? I dunno…I can’t really tell. I did feel like they were glossing over a lot. What ending are they barreling towards? Is Hibiki supposed to sway Yamato or will everyone just die? I’m really hoping Polaris doesn’t just press a “load save file” button.
And so Kiri was beaten by a little kid. What a weakling. Anyway, our new enemy is apparently made to be an Author…I assume that means she was bred a certain way or something…not that she’s some sort of synthetic human. She seems to have some relationship to Iwai…was I supposed to conclude that the father she refers to is Iwai’s father?
So Iwai’s hair isn’t growing anymore and Kiri is suffering some negative effect from the knife wound. Sounds like next week will be an interesting amount of suffering. It looks like Kiri will get Yamane to help him out…like sucking out poison, right?
Whoa…they brought Fukuda back? I guess it’s only a small appearance, though. I imagine he’ll fall of the radar for good after this. Anyway, I was almost expecting Team E to win this time…or at the least do the best out of the candidates. I guess they’re just not destined for that.
Now we’re back to Hibito, it seems. Time for Pico’s moment of truth. Will he be brought back when he realizes that he allowed Hibito to land safely? I’m assuming there won’t be any trouble with the parachute. Or will Mutta make his move?
Kei…you’re looking at Izuru a little too much this week…don’t tell me you actually…no, nothing. Anyway, the Wulgaru defector finally comes forward to explain everything. She looks like she could be Jiart’s sister or something. Somehow they must be related…maybe she cut a deal with the humans to save him somehow.
So what truths will we learn next week? Kinda looks like she’s gonna detail the history of Wulgaru expansion or something. And it looks like we’ll see more from the enemy base. Hopefully we’ll finally find out what’s going on…we’ve come such a long way.
Holy crap, Ashiya…were you making this story up in your free time or did you just freestyle that? Because if the latter is true, then I’m impressed. Anyway, the food wars continue. Somehow MgRonalds got the advantage back with the bamboo tree, but there was that purple glow to consider. Seemed like some magic was cast and Suzuno noticed.
The Sentucky dude is still suspicious to me, but would he cast the spell on the bamboo tree? That doesn’t seem to make much sense. Either way, are Emi and Maou gonna spend some quality time together next week? I’d laugh if they went on a date. Looks like Suzuno will be around too, I guess.
Right…so that’s why Eren is different. I had forgotten about that encounter with his father. I guess his father knew quite a lot about the Eotens to be able to create a serum to turn Eren into some sort of hybrid. Too bad he’s also turned Eren into the enemy of mankind.
What will happen now? Will Eren stay and try to convince everyone that he is still on their side? Or will he escape with Armin and Mikasa to desperately rush to reach that basement? Then he should be able to understand everything about his power, right? The preview kinda makes it sound like he stays back, but why would they bring up that flashback if he wasn’t going to try and enter the basement?
Well, finally we know the truth…it’s something I expected but dang…I just ignored the possibility up until now. I thought the Hideauze had been evolved from squids or something for testing…I didn’t think they were human. But what is Ledo to do with this information?
It’s not like he can change things on a grand scale…he doesn’t have the authority or power. So maybe he just gets rid of his vendetta and refuses the Alliance help when it comes? Or just flat-out shuts off the SOS. But that’s such a simple ending…it’s too easy. Surely there’s something more than that.
