Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai Episode 2

My god…this show is awesome. This premise just gives them the freedom to goof off and do whatever they want. I think it reminds me of a time when I was a child and really thought magical things were happening around me (yes, I admit I wasn’t always a rational being).

We’re introduced to two characters this week, first being Tsuyuri Kumin, presumably one of our main characters. Fairly carefree and amused by Rikka’s antics, she probably serves as a balancing force against Yuuta to encourage Rikka.

And of course, we also have Rikka’s sister Takanashi Touka. I figured that Yuuta would be okay with her while Rikka continued to believe she was her nemesis, but it just turns out that she’s evil when she blackmailed him with the recording of the Dark Flame Master. Oh, and I guess Chimera counts as a new character too?

I really like what I’ve seen so far…this show definitely shows promise. Let’s see if they can keep it up. I do continue to wonder if it’s going anywhere special (I’d say something like “the powers are real”, but that’s a little bit too much probably). In the end, it’s probably fine if it stays the way it is, though.

Of course she’s evil, she’s a priestess trying to destroy our poor Rikka. We need to ally up and defend her against that mass of evil! *__*
