So initially, nothing is really happening in this week’s episode. The only thing slightly off is that Reiko from last week is just gone…it’s not even too apparent either. But then a couple of things happen (that were actually not that huge). First, we’re introduced to these strange grunt workers. Saki’s father suggests that rebellion may lurk under the surface for these creatures, and I wonder if there’s some truth to that. He cites good reasons for keeping knowledge of them away from the children, but it could just be fear.
There must be some serious brainwashing if these kids don’t even care about Reiko disappearing…there’s no speculation, just acceptance and a fading memory. They don’t even give an explanation…nor do the children ask for one. The show’s going a bit slower than I expected. I wonder if next week will be when everything goes crazy. The hint this week is very enticing…the statement that everything was caused by Maria. The obvious question is whether Maria is simply the unfortunate one who triggers everything or whether she’s actually special in some way.

Well having two cours, I expect the first 12/13 episodes to cover their adventures as children. The rest will be the final story after they’ve grown up…:|
that long as children? I’m starting to have wild flashbacks to Tales of Graces
Are you more leaning over a 5-6 episodes as children and then fast-jump? That would be even better…:O
I don’t need half the game to be in tutorial mode!!!! *shiver*
I think that either way…Saki will survive! Sorry, but had to say it…:P
well, doesn’t she narrate in an older voice at the end of the episode? >.>
*nods*, that’s her old version! I was trying to ignore it though…:D
that’s not speculation…that’s just cheating >.>
Cheating? Do I get to disappear as well?! XD
…totally fair. We’ll call it a draw
our friend is gone i guess the mysterious cat got to her let us just ignore her…
speaking of which if a rebellion happen i wonder is it because the power user treat them as trash and overworked them it apparently some kind of unwritten law that every colonies must be treated badly even the emperor is as crazy as them killing people that stop clapping for him if i am not mistaken only few empire didn’t do as bad as the other french would be an example…i guess when people have too much superiority complex they wouldn’t think twice about committing terrible act or atrocities such as in here where the so called “gods” treat the other species badly killing humanity and causing the world another dark ages…
I don’t really care that Reiko disappeared…just that no one cares.
I’m sure it has something to do with the rats rebelling…I’m getting flashbacks to the Dune prequel series if anyone gets that reference.
Wonder how the main characters factor into all of this.
i really don’t care if all the main character dies really but yeah kind of amazing nobody cares i guess reiko wasn’t friendly or the friend didn’t like her or they are just outright retarded…
well i touch it because it is basically the main idea of the stories these rats play a vital role in the story such as waging war against the “gods”…
they shall end the war like any other main character would?
I just don’t get emotionally invested
true true…but Saki is their savior!
I suppose that works…
well aren’t you different from feal feal would cry like hell if his favorite bishoujo died…
the goddess shall appear to save all the minor race by talking and peace like method…kind of boring really…
“anything goes”-marthaurion 1990-2012…
I’m not so weak…
sounds pretty familiar to me
