Hmm…I was under the impression that the joint recital was the last boss for this show…apparently it’s just the first encounter. Only three of five are roped in so far, so we’re only getting started. So what actually comes next? Why do they need to continue if they’ve already done their recital? I’m so confused. I mean, clearly next week’s episode is devoted to recruiting Tanaka, our badminton player, but for what? Why do they need him so desperately?
It might have something to do with Sakai…the principal is revealed to be interested in her somehow…for some reason, everyone is. I get that she’s a troubled child with borderline depression issues, but does it really warrant everyone in the school trying to help her?
It looks like I’m motivated to watch the next episode just because I don’t know what’s going on…well, that’s probably not completely false. Does the show devolve into a normal club-activity-ish slice-of-life show from here? Wouldn’t be surprising, but it might be a bit disappointing. Or is there something else going on in the background? A battle of the bands in the future against the existing choir club?
With the vice principal as acting-adviser for both choirs, it might not be much of a stretch. Speaking of her, who else thinks that the song they sang was written by her (they mentioned the notes being handwritten, I think)? So many questions this week…I need answers next week!
